Updated: Oct 30, 2019
The Coalition for Adequate School Housing wrapped up its Sacramento 2019 NextGen Symposium Conference with great feedback.
The Coalition for Adequate School Housing had their 40th Annual conference in Sacramento on February 25-27th at the Sacramento Convention Center.
The conference was a three day long event where designers, innovators, researchers, and anyone invested or interested in school facilities, learned new industry information and focused on the promotion of student engagement within the context of the built K -12 environments.
"The 2019 CASH NextGen Symposium provides a setting for collaborative presentations and dialogue with teachers and other school site level leaders engaging K -12 practitioners, architects and others with the intent to impact student engagement", as stated on their website.
The symposium had speakers, booths, interactive forums, and more. Districts were encouraged to bring students, teachers and school site leaders to the Symposium, as well as school board members, superintendents and school business and community leaders.
The conference received great feedback for their well rounded event and was praised for giving students and other community leaders the opportunity to educate themselves on the future of education in school facilities.
