DSA Launches A New Electronic Plan Review

The Division of State Architect launches their new electronic plan review program throughout California effective October 1st, 2018.

“The new electronic system is going to speed up processes and allow project development to occur in a more efficient and cost effective manner.”
Beginning October 1, 2018, design professionals in the state of California are required to submit all project documents through the new Electronic Plan Review (EPR) process, instead of submitting paper documents. The introduction of EPR brings changes to the submittal, review, back check and approval process of a construction project. Making the transition to a digital platform allows quicker turn around time and allows all parties to change and manage projects in real time.
